ENERGY OPTIMIZATION IN HEAT TREATMENT OF METALS IN THE Q.I.P. Ltd.

The subject matter of the project presented is the implementation of energy austerity measures in the Q.I.P. Ltd. production with its primary focus on heat treatment of metals. This process, in which there is a material texture change, is especially characterized by its high energy demand.

The company has therefore decided to implement energy saving program consisting in modernization of all the furnaces, implementing completely new regulation and control systems and especially in updated software control system implementation. In connection with the implementation of the project presented the current lightning will be replaced with up to date LED technologies. There is the target is to reach the energy saving by 1556.12 GJ/year with the positive impact on the environment.
